Available for Adoption in Toronto/GTA and surrounding Ontario areas where we have volunteers.
My name is Oscar.
I'm a handsome Lhasa Apso of 6-7 years of age. Not sure what happened but I ended up getting lost in the East side of Toronto and was brought to the city pound.
I was so scared at first and really frightened of my new surroundings. The dogs barking all around me, people coming and going, the loud noises of the cages....It was obvious, I wasn't doing well.
I couldn't wait for my family to come for me as Christmas was just around the corner!
Somehow, Christmas passed and I was still here! Then came New Year! And yet, no one.
I was getting depressed and the staff at the pound said it was time for me to go. They said they couldnt keep me here any longer because I was showing fear issues and was better off somewhere else. Apparantly, they couldn't adopt me out.
You can't adopt me out??? What?! How insulting and on top of that the groomer at the pound accidentally cut my ear and I had to have stitches. They even had me neutered!
Can things get any worse?
Things didn't get worse for Oscar. Snookie's saved him!
Oscar is a beautiful red and black Lhasa Apso.
We will need to complete his grooming as the groomer at the pound could not complete the grooming session.
Little guy gets along with other small dogs. The fear issues went away pretty quickly.
He is toilet trained and well behaved.
Will need someone with some experience with rescue dogs.
A sweet dog with initial fear issues when meeting new people but quickly got passed them with the right handler.
Neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and health checked.
Ideally the little guy will find someone with some rescue dog experience and another small dog in the home.
